THE MOMENT I COMMITTED TO A PARACHUTE JUMP, EXITING THE TAIL RAMP OF THE AIRCRAFT FOLLOWING THE REST OF MY HEAVILY KITTED UP eLITE sPECIAL fORCES TEAM, MY WORLD CHANGED.
When my main chute failed, I cursed. But my training instinct soon kicked in, “there’s a drill for this,” I told myself. But to my horror, my reserve chute also failed to deploy… at 800 feet you don’t think, you act – instinctively, accurately and quickly.
Sometimes a story is all it takes to inspire and motivate an audience, helping to change perceptions and view the world differently. It might be a situation completely unfamiliar to you or a scenario you can relate to on different levels.
Throughout my keynote speech I drive the tough questions to engage and captivate my audience to give them the fundamental skills required to understand the causes of fear on a basic level in not just themselves, but their team members too.
